Launching a new vehicle to automotive journalists is a critical piece to every new vehicle launch. Because this is often the first chance that people outside the car company drive a new product, and because the journalists’ stories will be read by millions of car shoppers, everything surrounding the product must be perfect.
At ESI, we manage every facet of the program. We select appropriate hotel and eating venues. We design closed-course drive routes and select street drives that bring out the best in the vehicle. For track programs, we supply professional driver instruction. We ship vehicles to and from the destination, from as close as the company’s proving grounds to as far away as Africa and Asia for a truly spectacular drive program. When the vehicles arrive, we detail them and make sure they are in perfect condition.
We bring innovative, ground-breaking solutions to the table, too. For instance, we created a web-based vehicle tracking system that tracks cars from the moment ESI collects them to the moment they are returned at the end of a program. We generate reports that reflect accumulated miles, work done on each car, and more. We’ve also developed a computer-based check-out system that lets journalist reserve the exact car they want in advance of their drive.
