Event Specialist
Responsible for setup, operation and teardown of events safely, efficiently and effectively, adhering to ESI quality, safety, employee and event policies and procedures, to ensure customer satisfaction that meets or exceeds ESI and client expectations. Extensive travel required to perform work. Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Setup, tear down and cleaning of various tent styles, including associated equipment
- Setup, tear down of miscellaneous equipment, props and event components
- Load and unload trailers at warehouse or event sites in an organized and efficient manner
- Wash, detail and maintain event and support vehicles to showroom quality appearance
- Maintain a clean and orderly event site
- Perform catering and greeting/informational responsibilities in a quality and professional manner
- Ensure sufficient quantities or supplied and preparation of inventory materials
- Perform registration responsibilities and services in a quality, organized and professional manner
- Perform specific job assignments/responsibilities as directed by Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager professionally and efficiently
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- If over 21, with valid driver’s license, must have chauffer’s endorsement and medical card
- Physical ability to perform required work
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Has received training and achieved a resulting evaluation of 3.0 or higher, through ESI for essential skills required for tent assembly/disassembly, forklift, tire changing and so forth as required of position
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exhibits teamwork skills
