event infrastructure
The glue in everything ESI does is the support crew, the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that supports the bigger picture.
Our infrastructure starts with a hiring system that values attitude and personality as much as skill. To that, we add proven procedures, open communication channels, and program components such as detailed written job instructions and customized vehicle set up checklists
ESI has a 50,000-square-foot warehouse that stores 10,000 cones, 4,000 chairs, 500 tables, 4,000 feet of bike fence, 20,000 square feet of plastic flooring, 150,000 square feet of tents, awnings, spare parts, 50 generators, 50 heaters and more.
We also have smaller storage facilities located across the country, should an extra part or tent or table be needed on either coast or anywhere in between.
Our in-house corporate travel department gets discounted rates and helps make reservations for staff, clients and guests. We have a fleet of 25 semitrailers used to transport vehicles and equipment across the country, and we have years of solid relationships with specialized trucking companies for unique vehicle transportation needs.
We purchase trinkets and branded clothing direct from manufacturers, reducing mark-ups. All seasonal ESI employees have W-2 status and are covered by workers’ compensation insurance.
Small details? You bet. But making sure the little things are taken care of sets great events apart from the rest.
