As guests leave a program, ESI administers an electronic post-event survey that asks people what they thought of the experience, what they thought of the brand, and whether or not the event influenced their opinion and consideration of the featured product. Of course, the participant can elect to be contacted by a dealer or company representative.
After an event, we use a variety of technologies (such as text messages and e-mail) to follow up. This makes an immediate and meaningful connection with people when the event they just attended is still fresh. In the data we supply to the client, we report how many follow-up e-mails are read and how many people click on links to, for instance, the brand’s website. We also report bad e-mail addresses, bounce backs and opt-outs after each e-mail is sent.
