Making Final Preparations for Audi’s Fall Collection Ride and Drive

ESI’s PR & Media Services Division is making final preparations for its first Audi program. The event is the Audi Fall Performance Collection, with 112 journalists from the U.S. driving the new Audi R8, S5 and RS4 Cabriolet on autocross courses and driving loops.

Four waves of journalists are participating – two waves in the Washington, DC area beginning next week, and two waves the following week in Calistoga, Calif.

ESI will have seven logistical people and one IT support person on-site in each location.  The ESI staff is responsible for organizing route and vehicle logistics, staffing program locations (coffee stop, lunch stop, track, vehicle check-in/check-out, etc.), and managing custody and control all of program vehicles and support vehicles.  Audi’s PR department will be using a web-based system developed by ESI’s IT department to track vehicles during drive days.
