Audi Launches New A4 to North American Journalists

ESI is assisting Audi Public Relations with a two-wave short lead media program for the 2009 Audi A4.

The first wave of guests is lifestyle media. They arrive in San Francisco on Saturday and will be driven by chauffeur to the St. Regis in San Francisco. That evening, they will attend the premiere of the new Robert Downey movie, Iron Man, based on Marvel’s best-selling Iron Man comic book character. On Sunday, Audi’s guests will be treated to lunch at the Chandon Winery and spend an afternoon of wine tasting at Rubican before an Audi A4 presentation and dinner that evening. On Monday, the lifestyle media drive at Infineon Raceway and will be driven later that evening to the airport for departures.

Wave two, this time automotive journalists, also arrives on Monday. This group of journalists will be taken to the Solage Hotel in Calistoga to find a fleet of 2009 Audi A4s ready to be tested. The following morning, the group heads to Infineon Raceway for track activities and drive loops.  Later in the afternoon, journalists drive to the Westin Hotel outside of San Francisco Airport before catching flights home.

ESI’s responsibilities include staffing all drive event locations, creating and executing all drive routes and loops, prepping the vehicles for the drives, and managing all vehicle logistics involved with support vehicles and trucking.
