Challenger SRT8 Embarks on a Grand American Road Trip
August 18, 2008

It’s road trip time, Dodge Challenger style.

Dodge recently hired ESI to coordinate logistics for a nationwide driving tour of the 2008 HEMI-powered Dodge Challenger SRT-8. ESI Drivers Scott Vandekerckhove, Cheston Carson and Corey Martin are visiting locations across the country while stirring up buzz for the new Challenger.

They’re showing off HEMI Orange cars at neighborhood cruise-ins, car shows and other hot spots, and they’re taking photos of the Challenger in front of historical landmarks along the way.

The drivers will cover more than 3,000 miles each during their journey. Scott’s route is taking him from Detroit to Miami with stops in Boston, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Kitty Hawk (North Carolina), Daytona and Ft. Lauderdale.

Cheston begins in Detroit and visits Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Bentonville (Arkansas), Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville, Talladega, New Orleans, Houston and San Antonio before finishing his trip in Dallas.

Corey visits Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Yosemite, San Francisco, Portland (Oregon) and Vancouver (Washington) before ending up in Seattle. All three road trips end September 5.

Route 1 — San Diego to Seattle
Route 2 — Detroit to Miami
Route 3 — Detroit to Dallas

Blogs, photos and more are posted on RedLetterDodge.com several times each week. Check the schedule for when Challenger may visit your town, and if you’re around visit with our drivers and experience the excitement of the all-new Dodge Challenger.
